Is NoFap legit? Should men abstain from masturbation to become men?

As I said recently, I’m now working as a delivery driver in Florida and will be publishing content less frequently. Making these deliveries takes a lot out of you.

At the moment, I’m nursing a pair of sore calves and ankles.

And a blister from my boot, to boot.

(Maybe the steel-toed pair I’m wearing on the job isn’t ideal)

Whatever, enough about the job, that’s not what I lured you in for.

NoFap, Masturbation, and Circumcision!

I happened to watch a couple videos of YouTubers discussing the supposed “benefits” of a “NoFap” lifestyle. 🙂

So, What is NoFap?

NoFap is basically when men refrain from masturbating. i.e. They’re “no” longer “fapping” it.

Like recovering alcoholics, NoFap Community members count the days of abstaining from their former addiction and living the “clean” life.

The theory is that masturbation causes men to be less productive and confident in social interactions.

Essentially, masturbation fools the man’s brain into thinking he’s reproducing with the opposite sex (our main biological imperative as homo sapiens).

Thus, the man’s brain will not actively expend energy on ACTUALLY finding a woman to sleep with.

At face value, this makes sense. When a man ejaculates, he’s purging testosterone from his body. It takes time to restore the semen that was lost/wasted.

Imagine if a man, who practiced NoFap, always had a “full tank” down there. His brain might redirect the testosterone, that would otherwise be used to refill his balls…right?

It just makes sense.

A lot of notable athletes have actually practiced semen retention to optimize their performances.

Spirituality of NoFap

On a spiritual level, the masturbation-prone man is bonding with a woman that isn’t physically in his bedroom.

He’s not connecting with the invisible smoke show on an emotional level first.

He’s fooling his brain into thinking he’s already accomplising its most fundamental purpose: to procreate.

While we’re still on the spiritual aspect of this. I was puzzled, for much of my life, about circumcision. What exactly is cutting off an infant’s loose skin supposed to do? It just makes the penis head exposed constantly.

Christ, that’s got to be uncomfortable. I’ve actually heard people refer to it as “genital mutilation.” It’s so puritanical and arbitrary. Why do what a thousand-year old book tells you to? Why?

I once thought it was arbitrary myself.

In recent years, though, I’ve come to learn that there’s a degree of objectivity in religious texts. There’s a verifiable reason for these teachings.

For example:

Don’t have sex with family members – Because it breaks bonds in families and complicates the offspring’s upbringing.

Women should wear concealed clothing – Let’s be honest here, a woman’s skin DOES cause a man’s libido to go crazy.

I know, I know, I sound like a rapist-apologist and I apologize.

But if you’re a guy: What’s the first thing you think of when you see a swimsuit model?

Yes, you can see my point, I’m sure.

Don’t have sex with animals! – Do I like, really need to explain this?

Thank you, Leviticus! *smooch*😘

Benefits of Circumcision?

I don’t want to belabor this, so let’s just cut right to circumcision (hehe, “cut”).

WHY was circumcision mandated by the Abrahamic faiths in the first place? What was the objective purpose of it?

And no, “sealing that covenant with God” is not the answer I’m looking for. There must have been an objective reason.

Could masturbation have anything to do with it? When you’re removing the foreskin, the penis head becomes desensitized.

A man trying to stroke his head in the privacy of his own bedroom is suddenly going to have a “hard” time.

What if, just what if, people back then KNEW the repercussions of wanton masturbation?

Remember, people in the Biblical age were actually more connected to the world around them than we are. They were more practical in their approach to things.

Simply put, they were wiser than we are.

What if they observed the inimical social and personal effects of a man jacking it?

Does jerking off cause men to lose their social confidence? Does it cause men to NOT chase women and fulfill their galactic obligation of reproducing?

I can’t speak for the guys who wrote the Torah, Bible, and Quran. I also don’t have retroactive ESP. BUT…it is an intriguing thought, no?

What if the disgusting, inhumane act of circumcision was instituted with the best of intentions and to serve a valid societal purpose? Just what if…

What Does My Friend Think?

I asked someone close to me about this topic. He said the point of circumcision is to “keep the head clean.” Okay, fair enough. But you still have to consider the effect of desensitization down there!

Note: Said person disagrees with my take on this.

He thinks I’m an idiot.

Fine by me.🤷‍♂️

So what do you guys think? Have any of you fine gentlemen tried NoFap before? What were the personal results for you? Let me know in the comments!

    1. Well, I hold a pretty nuanced position on that, lol. The point I’m making is that people back in Biblical times were able to observe the impact of exposed female skin on guys. I guess they were trying to mitigate the consequences of lust.

I don’t think it’s something that should be enforced, though, especially on the State level (e.g. Saudi Arabia).
